Minutes away from the picturesque town of Innisfail we are situated at 7 River Ave, Innisfail. There are 48 powered and 1 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motor homes.
Relax and unwind on the banks of the South Johnstone River. There's a very well equipped camp kitchen, 2 x BBQ's, coin operated laundry facilities, gas heated dryers, dump point and excellent
amenities.

About Innisfail
Innisfail is a historic sugar cane and banana farm town and known for it's impressive Art Deco buildings. Located 90 km's south of Cairns and at the junction of the Johnstone River and South Johnstone Rivers.

With access to two World Heritage Areas - the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the Wet Tropics rainforests - the town is surrounded by beautiful natural attractions. Etty Bay, Flying Fish Point, Cowley Beach, Mission Beach and Kurrimine Beach are a short drive away. Wooroonooran National Park, with the Mamu Canopy Walkway and walking trails through the Misty Mountains, is 27km west of Innisfail. Other attractions include a historic Spanish-style castle and pleasure gardens, a tropical fruit winery and sugar industry museum.

Head up the Palmerston Highway for 30 minutes and you’ll find the start of the rainforest trail leading to Nandroya Falls. This is a great trek and one of the most popular things to do. Close to Nandroya Falls, on the Palmerston Highway about 25 minutes west of Innisfail, you will find Nucifora Tea Plantation. Situated next to the main road, pull over for a photo shoot amongst the tea leaves.

If you're into history, walk along the town’s colourful streets before ducking into Johnstone Shire Hall for their free tour of this jaw-dropping building. Make sure to spend some time at the Innisfail Museum, where its walls contain incredible artefacts of the region’s history. Learn about Innisfail’s early Chinese pioneers and the region’s rich indigenous heritage, as well as wartime in northern QLD.
